The domestic rare earth market remains relatively lukewarm, characterized by stable product prices and rigid trading among traders.
Under these conditions, bulk transactions have been limited. According to data from China Tungsten Online, with the approach of the Chinese New Year holiday, most upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain have completed their trading plans. Some suppliers, such as holders of rare earth oxides, have even ceased quoting prices.
Currently, prices for praseodymium oxide, terbium oxide, and dysprosium oxide remain steady at approximately 428,000 yuan/ton, 5,960 yuan/kg, and 1,670,000 yuan/ton, respectively.
In terms of industry news, JL MAG Rare-Earth Co., Ltd. plans to invest in the "Annual Production of 20,000 Tons of High-Performance Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Materials Green Manufacturing Project" through its wholly-owned subsidiary JL Baotou Company. The project has a planned total investment of 1.05 billion yuan and a construction period of two years. Upon completion, the company will have the capacity to produce 60,000 tons of high-performance rare earth permanent magnet materials annually.
