From the perspective of the supply side, due to factors such as the current poor performance of the rare earth market and high production costs, many rare earth manufacturers are slow to release production capacity, which is conducive to the firm operation of light and heavy rare earth raw material prices.

From the perspective of demand, although rare earth downstream industries such as new energy vehicles, photovoltaics, and wind power have developed well, it is still difficult to increase the consumption enthusiasm of downstream users such as magnetic material companies. At present, magnetic material companies basically rely on rigid demand.

News: According to data from the National Energy Administration, as of the end of May 2023, the cumulative installed capacity of power generation in the country is about 2.67 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%; among them, the installed capacity of solar power is about 450 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 38.4%; 380 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%. From January to May 2023, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment across the country is 1430 hours, a year-on-year decrease of 32 hours; among them, hydropower is 967 hours, a year-on-year decrease of 294 hours; solar power generation is 535 hours, a year-on-year decrease of 28 hours; wind power is 1081 hours, a year-on-year increase of 105 hours.
