Terbium Oxide Price - December 26, 2022

At the beginning of the week, China rare earth price generally continued to pick up slightly mainly due to the low supply of some rare earth raw materials and the support of production costs. Industry players still lack confidence in the market outlook. 

Currently, the prices of praseodymium-neodymium oxide, terbium oxide and dysprosium-iron alloy are about 705,000 yuan/ton, 14,000 yuan/kg and 2,480,000 yuan/ton respectively.

In terms of news: In order to build the world's largest rare earth magnetic material alloy factory, Northern Rare Earth plans to integrate four magnetic companies under Baotou Steel Magnetic Materials, Ningbo Zhanhao, Beijing Sanjili and Anhui Permanent Magnet to reorganize and establish Inner Mongolia Northern Rare Earth Magnetic Materials limited liability company. The new company expects the production capacity of high-performance NdFeB alloys to reach about 80,000 tons by the end of 2022, and strive to reach about 150,000 tons by the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan".
