China rare earth price showed a trend of continuous decline in the week ended on Friday, August 26, 2022. With the favorable factors gradually weakening, the negative atmosphere in the market was slightly strong, mainly because the prices of praseodymium, neodymium, dysprosium and terbium products all declined to varying degrees, and new orders were few. 

However, as the price of rare earth raw materials gradually approaches the cost line and is supported by the limited release of production capacity of many rare earth mining companies, the decline in supplier quotations has narrowed.

According to statistics from Chinatungsten Online, the prices of praseodymium neodymium oxide and praseodymium neodymium metal dropped by about 90,000 yuan/ton and 105,000 yuan/ton this week, and dysprosium iron alloy and terbium oxide dropped by about 60,000 yuan/ton and 100 yuan/kg. The main negative factors for the rare earth market are: first, the relatively weak demand of magnetic material enterprises and other downstream users; second, the total control indicators of rare earth mining and metallurgical separation in 2022 will both increase by 25% year-on-year; third, under the pressure of high inflation, global economic growth slowing down, which is not conducive to rare earth prices.

During the reporting period, the main reason for the growth of the company's performance was the rapid expansion of the company's downstream application market, and the rapid growth of the market size of new energy vehicles and other industries.
