Ammonium Molybdate Price - July 11, 2022

At the beginning of the week, China molybdenum market continues to be weak. The prices of sodium molybdate, ammonium molybdate and ammonium heptamolvbdate decline slightly. 

Although the number of ferromolybdenum steel companies entering the bidding market is acceptable and the spot supply of molybdenum raw materials is not much support, many holders are willing to maintain firm quotations, but downstream users are pressing prices. The high sentiment and the continuous decline of international molybdenum prices led to a slight decline in the prices of some domestic molybdenum chemical products.

In terms of news: the global manufacturing PMI index in June 2022 was 52.3, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. In late June 2022, the average daily output of crude steel by key steel enterprises was 2,099,100 tons, down 7.03% from the previous month; the steel inventory was 16,948,600 tons, down 3,574,600 tons or 17.42% from the previous ten days (and mid-June).
