Europium Oxide Prices - April 16, 2020

The europium oxide, lanthanum oxide and praseodymium neodymium oxide prices remain weak adjustment in the middle of April. The light rare earth market has prices but no sales. Although the export increases in March year-on-year, domestic demand seems quiet and mainstream product prices also decline slightly. For medium and heavy rare earth market, under the strict control in smelting factories' inventories, deadlocked supply and demand eases slightly but new increased orders remain low.

The export of rare earth commodities was 5551.4 tons in March, a year-on-year increase of 19.2%; the export value was 380 million yuan, an increase of 58.3%. The cumulative export of rare earth commodities this year was 1,1040.6 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.3%; the export value was 670 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 9.8%, according to General Administration of Customs released on April 14, 2020.
