China Terbium Oxide Prices - April 13, 2020

Rare earth market quotation in China: the latest prices of terbium oxide, neodymium oxide and praseodymium neodymium oxide continued to decline in the week began on Monday April 13, 2020 in wake of low trading activity. 

On the one hand, the import and export of products have been greatly decreased affected by the COVID-19 on low operating rate of foreign enterprises and logistics constrain. Smelting factories face risk of price inversion and the short-term market may continue to remain weak; On the other hand, due to the recent frequent rainy weather and higher mining costs, some rare earth mining companies have reduced their production, boosting the confidence for the long-term sluggish market, and traders are mostly taking a watchful stance.
