China Ferro Molybdenum Prices - March 9, 2020

Molybdenum market quotation in China: the latest of molybdenum concentrate, ammonium molybdate and ferro molybdenum prices are in the downward trend due to increased supply of raw materials but continued weak demand. 

First, with the gradual effective control of the epidemic, almost all molybdenum mining companies have resumed production, and the production capacity of raw material has been released. However, due to slightly weaker downstream demand, some traders' prices have been rationally reduced; Second, steel companies have entered the bidding process one after another, supporting participants' confidence in trading. However, steel companies have a heavier mentality of price reduction, which has made it more difficult for suppliers to quote prices.
