The ferro tungsten and tungsten powder prices in China continued to rise this week affected by the Wuhan coronavirus that is very easy to spread with the movement of the crowd.

China Key drivers China’s export ammonium paratunsgate (APT) price increased 2.2% amid tight prompt availability. Exporters do not have enough spot cargoes at hand. APT refineries would have low operation rates given the virus protection measures they need to take, if they could resume production after February 17 as scheduled. Delivery for APT orders signed before Chinese New Year holiday have been delayed due to the constraint on logistics, according to market sources.
