The molybdenum prices in China are in the downward trend in the first trading day on November 4, 2019 due to downstream buyers' low demand for raw materials and weak confidence of raw material sellers.

Molybdenum concentrate manufacturers considered profit-taking and thus offers were declined with limited transactions. For ferro molybdenum markets, steel mills mainly consumed materials in their inventories, so market trading did not improve. In the short term, the market is expected to stabilize.
