China Rare Earth Market - July 24, 2019

The China rare earth market showed a weak but stable trend as a whole. Some product prices fell to some extent and actual transactions remained at a relatively low level. Most businesses now take a watchful stance for the outlook. 

Firstly, due to the impact of the climate and the traditional off-season, the demand for downstream magnetic materials companies is slightly weak, mainly on demand purchases; secondly, from the recent market conditions, prices have almost fallen to a low point, although there is still the possibility of continuing to decline. However, the space is already small; the third point is that due to cost support and the impact of mine production cuts, some holders are reluctant to sell at low prices, and are cautious of trading to reduce the risk of price inversion.
