Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

Ganzhou Tungsten Association released its new tungsten forecast prices for July: tungsten concentrate price was $10,468.75/t, down $3,593.75/t from last month; ammonium paratungstate(APT) price was $187.20/mtu, down $60/mtu; medium particle tungsten power prices was $28.2/kg, down $6.3/kg from June.

The decline in the new guide prices is the result of continued downward trend in June, unclear market outlook and low trading activity in the market. The whole tungsten market in China is weak with more and more sellers reducing product prices in line with terminal demand. Manufacturers set to cut production to prevent prices from falling, but it seems unpredictable when the price will bottom out.
