Molybdenum Powder Prices - July 4, 2019

The latest prices of molybdenum powder, molybdenum concentrate and molybdenum oxide in the Chinese market remain stable in early July on deadlocked supply and demand, cautious sentiment and low trading activity. 

In the molybdenum concentrate market, the second round of environmental checks will soon be launched and some large mines would stop production to undergo repair, so supply is expected to be tighter over the couple of months. For ferro molybdenum market, the new round of steel tenders stabilize and traders have confidence buy remain cautious sentiment. As downstream users have not high demand for molybdenum chemical and products, sellers are reluctant to decrease product profits for more sales. The whole trading is thin.
