Chinese Rare Earth Prices – April 12, 2019

Chinese rare earth prices still show different trends in the week ended at Friday April 12. Prices of heavy rare earths such as dysprosium and terbium products maintained at a relatively high levels on strong rised mentality of sellers under expectation of tight supply; while praseodymium, neodymium and other light rare earth product prices edge lower because terminal buyers have not high enthusiasm in purchasing. As the industry may benefit from the environmental protection policy, the market would stabilize in the short term.
