US hard tungsten scrap prices increase caused by international uptick. Activity for hard tungsten scrap has seen no noticeable change as the only fluctuation seems spurred by rate increases coming from China suppliers. 

APT values rose roughly USD15mtu since late March, which only had a slight impact on scrap values. Players remarked that domestic business seems to have slowed further as players hold on to product due to a sudden firming, but many stated that it is still difficult to conclude consistent sales.

According to US, the hard tungsten scrap prices keep at USD11.9-12.4lb for consumers, a USD0.1lb increase compared to early.
