A method for recovering tungsten from a reaction mixture obtained by reacting an organic compound with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a tungsten catalyst comprising blowing a gas into the reaction mixture to precipitate tungstic acid (WO3.H2O) and separating tungstic acid precipitated.

A method for recovering tungsten from a reaction mixture, wherein the reaction mixture of an organic compound and hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a catalyst obtained by reacting a tungsten containing gas is bubbled into the reaction mixture to precipitate and separating the precipitated WO3 -H2O acid wherein the reaction of oxidation of organic compounds with hydrogen over; and wherein the organic gas is not, or the reaction mixture in the reaction with the oxidation product of unreacted.
