Method for Producing Ammonium Paratungstate by Using Tungsten-containing Waste Material

The invention discloses a method for producing ammonium paratungstate by using a tungsten-containing waste material, which relates to a tungsten secondary resource cycling utilization method.

The method comprises the following steps: 1) performing acid pickling and removing impurity; b) drying and oxidizing; c) transiting; d) purifying and e) evaporating and crystallizing an ammonium tungstate solution and then drying to obtain the ammonium paratungstate product; wherein the tungsten-containing waste material is a metal tungsten-containing waste material or a tungsten carbide waste material. Compared with the prior art, the method for producing ammonium paratungstate by using the tungsten-containing waste material employs a production process which is characterized in that tungsten oxide is directly converted to ammonium tungstate, the flow is short, the waste ammonia gas through evaporation and crystallization as well as waste water are recovered and reused, the discharge capacity of exhaust gas and waste water can be greatly reduced, and tungsten recovery rate is increased.
