China’s Zhangyuan Tungsten Raised Long-term Contract Prices for the Second half of December 2023

China tungsten price continues to stabilize with the release of the last round of guide prices for the year of 2023. Insiders are not optimistic about the stocking up at the end of the year, and the market is expected to be lukewarm. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten released its long-term contract prices for the second half of December 2023: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,214.3/ton, up $214.3/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,000.0/ton, up $214.3/ton; APT price was $291.4/mtu, unchanged with the first half of this month. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high-grade black tungsten concentrate at $17,428.6/ton, up $71.4/ton compared with the first half of December 2023. 

In addition, according to statistics from Chinatungsten Online, China's tungsten product export volume decreased by 21.13% year-on-year in November 2023, with a month-on-month increase of 22.02% from negative to positive; from January to November 2023, China's tungsten product export volume decreased by 27.91% year-on-year, compared with 1-10 The monthly data rebounded by 0.53 percentage points.
