Tungsten carbide indexable turning tool, with three or more indexable cutting edges, is formed by clamping the tungsten carbide indexable insert to the toolbar using mechanical method. It is composed of toolbar, blade, shim, and clamping structure. When one of its cutting edges wears, operators can loosen the clamping structure, switch to another cutting edge, and clamp it again. When the cutting edges all wear off, the indexable insert then can be replaced by another one of the same kind. It can avoid the defects after welding in welded turning tools. Therefore, tungsten carbide indexable turning tools can allow full play to the original cutting properties of blade materials and thus help extend the tool life. Tungsten carbide indexable turning tool has three main clamping structures: eccentric clamping structure, lever-type clamping structure and wedge-type clamping structure.
