According to the experts, the collision frequency between the Cs0.33WO3 particles and the ZrO2 beads increased as the quantity of beads increased. Thus, the secondary particle size of the Cs0.33WO3 dispersion decreased as the quantity of beads increased. And the experts found that the optimum quantity of beads was determined to be 5 or 6 times the weight of the Cs0.33WO3 suspension. When the quantity of ZrO2 beads was more than 6 times the weight of the Cs0.33WO3 suspension, the secondary particle size increased again. This result indicates that excessive quantity of ZrO2 beads has small effect on reduce of particle size or even unfavorable. The reason may be that massive ZrO2 beads can increase the collisions frequency, but the impact strength will become smaller.
