Some experts successively fabricated the stable aqueous dispersions of cesium tungsten bronze using KOH solution of pH=8 as a stabilizing agent in accordance with the electrostatic repulsion mechanism. The optimum concentration of stable aqueous dispersions is 0.03wt% Cs0.33WO3 on the basis of their spectral properties. After dispersing the Cs0.33WO3 nanoparticles into the solution of PVA, films of different thickness on PET were prepared by rod coating. After irradiation by a halogen lamp, an incandescent light and an ultraviolet light source, the Cs0.33WO3 films are found to show remarkable absorptions both in the NIR and UV portions of spectrum.
