During 1936~1953, total output of tungsten in Pine Creek Tungsten Mine is 7613ton. In 1979, Pine Creek Tungsten Mine starts underground exploration, annual output is 2000ton. And keeps being the biggest tungsten producer in America.

Exploration model of Pine Creek Tungsten Mine has reached 2000m.

However, even tungsten mine in developed country can not resist the sluggish of tungsten price. Since 1986, international tungsten price decreases suddenly, Pine Creek Tungsten Mine starts deficit. Their high cost can not compete with Chinese tungsten mine. After 4 year, it shut down.

Nowadays Pine Creek Tungsten Mine stays still on the Nevada mountain. Once in a while there are some tourists would come and stopping by. It no longer has the previous glory.
