China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association Declined Average Tungsten Forecast Prices for April 2023

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China tungsten price remained weak adjustment in the week ended on Friday April 7, 2023 affected by the decline in new guide prices from listed tungsten companies as well as tungsten association. 

China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) released its average tungsten forecast prices for April 2023: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $17,384.6/ton, down $461.5/ton; ammonium paratungstate (APT) price was $301.7/mtu, down $7.8/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder price was $41.1/kg, down $1.4/kg compared with March 2023. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten released its long-term contract prices for the first half of April: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,384.6/ton, down $307.7/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,153.8/ton, down $307.7/ton; APT price was $301.6/mtu, down $4.3/mtu compared with the second half of March 2023. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high grade black tungsten concentrate at $17,769.2/ton, down $230.8/ton compared with the second half of March 2023. 

Xiamen Tungsten quoted APT bid price at $301.6/mtu, down $2.6/mtu from the second half of March 2023.
