Chinese Tungsten Prices Are Pressed by Wait-and-See Atmosphere

Chinese tungsten prices are under pressure earlier in this week as the demand remains thin and insiders’ strong rised sentiment is weakened. Production in the raw material side is controlled, but most downstream smelting factories stop production under environmental protection inspection. 

Financial pressure of enterprises increases in the second half of the fourth quarter with more difficult in sales. Market prices are changeable, but are in the downward trend on the whole. This week, large tungsten enterprises will release their forecast prices and market participants are caught in heavy wait-and-see atmosphere.
