Super Tungsten Rod

Super tungsten rod is a missile made entirely of tungsten. Launched at 1,000 km near the low earth orbit, the missile will shoot at 11,000 km/s of gravity acceleration.

After hitting, the missile hits the ground and forms a certain shock wave, of which the power is like the small nuclear storm. It's not a science fiction plot, and maybe it will come true soon.

We all know that tungsten has excellent physical and chemical properties, such as high melting point, high density and high strength. Using tungsten filament made of tungsten as lighting tools is its most populist application. Tungsten filament is also one of the most important materials in the national defense industry.

In the military field, tungsten filament is mainly used for making armor piercing and ballistic missiles. All along, the development of high density or high density composite armor piercing bullet core has been highly valued by the military powers. The "super tungsten rod" quickly breaks through the missile defense system and penetrates the ground with great penetration, of which the shock wave hit the target in the area.

Even underground nuclear havens, which claim to block millions of tons of equivalent bombs, could also be penetrated. If the enemy's command target is locked in wartime, it will be a secret weapon to achieve assassination.

At present aerospace technology, only China and the United States have the ability to send "super tungsten rods" into space. The media reports that the United States is implementing the plan and plans to send "super tungsten rods" into space in 2025, which is called "the rod of God" program. It is uncertain that whether the United States is confusing the public as the program is too expensive. Perhaps the manned space station is an ideal place for "super tungsten rods".

And there will be only one space station in the near earth orbit after 2020, that is, the China International Space Station. Being a major producer of tungsten, however, China does not seem to have a similar plan. If the United States sent the "super tungsten rod" to space in 2025, we can only praise the United States’ superb space technology as well as abundant funds.
