Tungsten alloy cylinder block is used as a counterweight in the autos, in order to maintain the balance and as an auto crankshaft counterweight.Compared to the auto  counterweights which made of conventional non-toxic materials, the weight of tungsten alloy is 3.2 times these counterweights made of non-toxic materials, it also underlined the tungsten alloy cylinder counterweights have great flexibility in auto design. Since the preparation process of tungsten alloy cylinder counterweights is more simple than tungsten bar, therefore the tungsten alloy cylinder counterweights would be more popular.

 

The tungsten alloy cylinder counterweights can be easy molded and machined after pressing. But the pure tungsten is brittle and difficult to be molded. When the tungsten alloy cylinder counterweights(As shown in the pic.)were used in auto counterweights,it  is to drill one or more holes of 25/64 diameter or larger diameter in the module, then fill in the required number of tungsten alloy cylinder, then insert the 3/8 inch-long pin to the hole. In addition, tungsten alloy cylinder counterweight can also be processed into military products, molds and various counterweights, such as boats counterweights, vehicles counterweights, aircraft counterweight, helicopter counterweights, marine counterweights, tanks counterweights and so on. The tungsten alloy cylinder counterweights and tungsten alloy blocks are also often used in military fields.
