Sodium Tungstate Dihydrate-XI

According to Varlamov and co-workers, the synthesis of cyclic nitrones (4) can be carried out using H2O2 and a catalytic amount of sodium tungstate dihydrate, at room temperature, with moderate to high yields, as exemplified for 2-benzazepines (3).
