Scheelite Europium Doped Anti-Tumor Nanomaterials

At present, there are three or forty kinds of Polyoxometalates with anti-tumor activity, most of which are Heteropolytungstates or tungsten molybdate, and they are water-soluble polymers. Some scientists believe that the doping of scheelite with europium has both fluorescence effect and anti-tumor activity. Europium doped nano-scheelite is a kind of anti-tumor nano-material, which is composed mainly of oligomeric scheelite and Europium tungstate. It is soluble in DMSO (dimethylalumina) and becomes a sol-state anti-tumor drug.

The preparation process of Scheelite Europium-doped anti-tumor nanomaterials is as follows:

1.Prepare 4.0%-16.5%(NH4)2WO4 solution with 5-6ml solvent of ethylene glycol and 0.9-1.1g CTAB (hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide); Prepare 6.5%-10.0% calcium acetate solution with 5-6ml solvent of ethylene glycol; Take 4-6ml 0.1mol/L Eu (NO3)3 solution.

2.Mix the above three solutions and react for 10-15 minutes at 50-70 ~℃.

3.The mixture was put into the polytetrachloroethylene pressure-soluble bomb and reacted for 200-300 minutes at 100-120 ~℃.

4.After 10-14 hours at room temperature, the intermediate product can be obtained by filtration.

5.Remove the precipitate from the filter and heat it in the oven at 100-120 ℃ for 3-5 hours. Then heat it in the vacuum furnace at 550-650 ℃ for 1.5-2.5 hours.

6.Europium-doped scheelite nano-powders can be obtained by grinding the solid obtained from the above steps for 30-40 minutes.

7.Europium-doped nano-scheelite powder was added into DMSO (dimethylalum) to prepare a sol with concentration of 1-100 ug/ml or an aqueous solution with concentration of 1-100 ug/ml, that is, Europium-doped nano-scheelite antineoplastic drug.

Europium-doped nano-scheelite powders with particle size ranging from 40 to 50 nm were prepared. As Ca2+ ions gradually drip into the solution, white precipitation of scheelite doped with Europium is formed. WO42- ions which are not precipitated in the solution are adsorbed on the surface of the newly formed scheelite particles, causing negative charges on the colloidal particles and forming negative colloids. This is a process of "adsorbing sol". The polar end of CTAB is positively charged in aqueous solution, which can reduce the surface energy of nanoparticles, increase the steric hindrance and eliminate static electricity. It can prevent the growth and agglomeration of nanoparticles. Therefore, the method of preparing scheelite Europium-doped anti-tumor nanomaterials is simple, easy to control, stable and effective.
