Tungsten Oxide Insulating Glass Dome

The tungsten oxide insulating glass dome is an architectural structure formed by installing a tempered glass with a tungsten oxide thermal insulation coat, and then fixed on the reinforced structure. Such structure is seen as an improvement of the traditional glass architectural structure.

Due to its special arch appearance and good daylighting, the glass dome structure is getting the architects favor with the technology matures. Because tungsten oxide glass owns a good barrier effect on the ultraviolet rays and infrared rays from the sun, which could reduce the influence of the solar heat radiation on the inside temperature to achieve the heat insulation effect and reduce the energy consumption of the indoor cooling equipment. At the same time, outstanding light penetration ensures the advantages of daylighting from the glass dome itself. What’s more, the engineers use the surface insulating coat which contain the tungsten oxide to spray on the outside of the completed glass dome, which also get good heat insulation effect.
