The tungsten bead pad for grenade is a prefabricated killing element assembled in the axial direction of the ammunition. The manufacturing steps of the tungsten bead pad are as follows:
1) A predetermined weight of the mixture is placed in a high speed mixer, and a molding agent is added, and mixed at a predetermined temperature and rotation speed to form a feed, wherein the mixture includes a predetermined ratio of tungsten powder, nickel powder, and iron powder.
2) The feed is placed in a twin-screw machine and repeatedly extruded at a predetermined number of times.
3) The extruded feed is fed into the hopper of the injection molding machine to be electrically heated to form a molten feed, and the molten feed is injected into the first cavity to obtain a predetermined shape of the tungsten bead injection embryo under pressure. .
4) Degreasing treatment of the tungsten bead injection embryo to remove the low melting point and high melting point molding agent in the tungsten bead injection molded embryo. The tungsten bead injection molded body is immersed in trichloroethylene and heated to 60-70 ° C, and taken out after 2 to 4 hours.
5) The degreased tungsten bead injection molded body is subjected to sintering treatment so that the tungsten bead injection molded part obtains predetermined physical and mechanical properties and forms a tungsten bead alloy.
6) Fine grinding of the tungsten bead alloy is applied, so that the tungsten bead alloy meets the predetermined accuracy range.
7) The tungsten bead alloy is thermal treated to eliminate residual stress of the tungsten bead alloy to form a tungsten bead product.
8) Place the tungsten bead product in the second cavity, injecting a molding agent in a molten state in the second cavity, and injecting the tungsten bead product and the molding agent in the second cavity to form tungsten bead pad of a desired shape and size.
In the structural design, the tungsten bead pad can be designed into different shapes according to the assembly requirements through the second cavity, so as to ensure that the shape of the fragment of the tungsten bead is more regular during the launching process, the fragmentation angle of the fragment is more reasonable, and the killing effect is greater. The shape and size of the tungsten bead pad can be guaranteed by the mold during injection molding, thus the size is more precise.
