A Separation Process of Gold-Tungsten Ore

The gold mine in Hunan is rich in resources, and the ore contains a small amount of ultra-low grade associated tungsten. The ore dressing method that the mine has been using for a long time is a single flotation. The only product is gold concentrate, and its flotation recovery rate is 80-90%. The associated tungsten grade in the ore is about 0.05%, which is much lower than the critical mining value of tungsten. The conventional beneficiation method has the problems of high cost and low recovery rate.

In view of the deficiencies, the gold recovery rate and the ultra-low grade associated tungsten in the gold mine are further improved. For this reason, the researchers have developed a gold and tungsten comprehensive separation method for the gold-tungsten paragenic ore, and it has high selection index, stable process and low cost.

The process is as follows:

1) Select gold grade 3.35g/t, WO3 content 0.055%, chlorite, clay mineral, dolomite and other ultra-low grade associated tungsten gold ore with more than 15% mud mineral content through two-stage closed-circuit crushing process (using 颚The crusher is coarsely broken, the cone crusher is finely broken, and then the circular vibrating screen is used to form a closed circuit. The crushed product has a particle size of less than 20 mm, and then enters the ball mill grinding process, and the grinding concentration is controlled at 70 to 75%.

2) The minerals after grinding by the ball mill are sieved into a linear vibrating screen. The size of the linear vibrating screen is 3mm* 30mm. The sieve is returned to the ball mill through a large inclination angle (inclination angle greater than 28 degrees), and the sieve is passed through the thickener. The slurry pump is pumped to the Nielsen centrifugal concentrator.

3) Gravity concentration: The linear vibrating sieve is re-selected by a Nielsen centrifugal concentrator. The re-election concentrate is further selected by a segmented shaker. The segmented shaker is divided into three sections to divide the shaker operation product into three parts: concentrate (golden gold) and gold-tungsten concentrate (including Gold, tungsten), tailings (heavy sand), gold and tungsten in gold and tungsten concentrates are sold separately, of which the gold grade is above 200g/t and the tungsten grade is above 22%.

4) Enrichment: The concentration of tailings is 40~ 50% and it is placed into a simple concentrating device for enrichment. The concentrated overflow (concentration 10~20%) is used for linear vibrating screen as sieve surface cleaning water to reduce the amount of fresh water in the process. Ensure that the concentration of the linear vibrating screen is up to 60%. The enriched bottom stream (concentration 45-55%) is passed to a classifier for classification.

5) Froth flotation of gold: after gravity concentration of tailings, enrichment and classification, soda ash 1000g / t, xanthate 140g / t, copper sulfate 60g / t, sodium sulfide 30g / t, water glass 60g / t, No. 2 oil 48g / t is added to carry out a froth flotation, the flotation process is a pre-selection and a rough selection, then three selections of the crude concentrate, three sweeps of the crude tailings.

6) Froth flotation of tailings tungsten: After three sweeps, the flotation tailings enter a set of parallel arranged chutes, a total of 6 to 10 chutes, each chute width 1m, depth 0.5m, length 10m, chute arrangement inclination For 12°, a sticky gold blanket is laid on the bottom of the chute. After three sweeps of flotation tailings into the chute for pre-enrichment and a large number of tailings, the chute concentrate is obtained.

7) Chute concentrate shaker selection: the chute concentrate is selected three times using a shaker to obtain a tungsten concentrate with a grade of about 22%. The ore in the shaker is returned to the upper shaker.

The process has effective separation effect. The final gold recovery rate of gold-tungsten gold symbiotic ore is 93.52%; gold flotation tailings enter the chute pre-enrichment and pass the shaker, and then the tungsten concentrate with grade of 23.68% is obtained, the tungsten recovery of the gold flotation tailings was 10.11%, and the comprehensive recovery of tungsten was 12.69%. This effective separation process has achieved the comprehensive recovery of gold and tungsten resources.
