Recovery Method of Tungsten from Fine-Grained Tungsten Ore Tailings

In the association deposit of scheelite and wolframite, the ratio of scheelite to wolframite is 1:9 to 9:1. Although the recovery rate of black and white tungsten mixed flotation has reached more than 80%, the total recovery of tungsten is only about 60%, which is mainly due to the low recovery rate of fine-grained tungsten ore in the separation process of scheelite and wolframite mixed concentrate.
According to statistics, the current recovery rate of the scheelite in the fine-grained tungsten ore is less than 76%, and the grade is less than 20%, so it is important to improve the overall recovery rate of tungsten.
The specific steps of the recovery method of tungsten in fine-grained tungsten ore tailings are as follows:
1) Deslimation and decontamination: fine-grained tungsten ore is given to the ore after the slurry is settled and the slurry and most of the mud are removed. Deslimation and decontamination concentrate and demineralization and tailings;
2) After dewatering and decontaminating concentrate, water is concentrated to 26~44% pulp concentration, the pulp pH is about 8.5;
3) Fine-grained tungsten ore froth floatation: According to the per ton of fine-grained tungsten ore, add adjuster sodium fluorosilicate 360-800 g, water glass 8000-12000 g, sulfuric acid in the slurry of decontamination and decontamination concentrate of 26-44% concentration. 2400~3300g of aluminum and 500~1000g of lead nitrate, stirring for 1~10 minutes; adding 500~850g of collector benzoic acid and 100~200g of sulfated oleic acid soap, stirring for 1~10 minutes; 1 rough selection, 2 to 4 selections, 2 to 3 sweeps, fine-grained tungsten concentrate and fine-grained tungsten tailings; 50-60% benzoic acid and 50-60% sulfuric acid The oleic acid soap is used for rough selection, 35-40% benzoxamic acid and 35-40% sulfated oleic acid soap for sweeping, 5-10% benzoic acid and 5-10% sulfated oil. Acid soap is used in the selection.
Specific examples: fine-grained tungsten ore contains WO34.01%, less than 30 micron, WO3 metal occupation rate is 65%, and black and white tungsten ratio is 4:6. After the slurry is re-selected, the tailings are removed by the slurry, and the upper layer of the slurry (mud and part of the agent) is removed. The demineralized and decontaminated concentrate is added to the water and concentrated to a pulp concentration of 26%, and the pulp pH is about 8.5. Granular tungsten froth floatation, adding adjuster sodium fluorosilicate, water glass, aluminum sulfate and lead nitrate, stirring for 8 minutes, adding collector carbamic acid and sulfated oleic acid soap for 5 minutes, then fine-graining The level of tungsten ore flotation, after 1 rough selection, 3 selections, 2 sweeps, to obtain WO335.60% fine-grained tungsten concentrate, the recovery rate of 86.80%.
The recovery method of tungsten in fine-grained tungsten ore tailings has the following advantages: the process is simple, the beneficiation process is stable, the tungsten recovery rate is high, the additive cost is low, the additives used has no pollution to the environment, and the tailings water can reach the discharge requirement.
