New Tungsten Carbide Stirring Carbon Equipment

The traditional coarse grain tungsten carbide powder is produced by using the coarse tungsten powder reduced by Li+ or Na+, and rolling ball milling in the common carburizing device, and then heating in the ordinary carbon tube for high temperature (1800 to 2000 degrees C) for a long time carbonization.
However, there are obvious defects in this method as follows: (1) there are obvious defects in the crystal structure of the coarse tungsten powder produced by the addition of Li+ or Na+, with a large number of pseudo crystal structures, small original grain size of tungsten powder, imperfect crystal development, many crystal defects and easy breakage, and a large number of harmful impurity elements such as Li+, Na+ and so on. The coarse tungsten carbide powder produced by this kind of tungsten powder will inherit the quality defects of the original tungsten powder.
A new type of tungsten carbide mixing equipment was used to improve the crystal development of ultra coarse tungsten carbide powder and improve the original grain size of tungsten carbide powder. The main structure of the equipment consists of a sealed cylinder, a seat, a driving motor and a working table. The cylinder is fixed on the support. The support and driving motor are fixed on the worktable respectively. The upper part of the cylinder is equipped with a pneumatic cylinder cover and a sealed inlet. The bottom of the cylinder is equipped with a stirring blade and a pneumatic seal. The mixing blade is connected with the mixing rotating shaft, and the rotating shaft is driven by the motor; the outer wall of the cylinder is covered with a water cavity; an inlet passage enters the mixing rotating shaft and enters the cylinder cavity from the gap between the shaft holes.
In the process of use, super coarse-grain tungsten powder is first mixed and stirred with carbon in a carbon dispenser; carbon-enriched tungsten-carbon mixture is then sent to a carbonization plant, and medium-frequency induction heating is used to perform an ultrahigh temperature above 2200°C. After carbonization, tungsten carbide powder with a grain size exceeding 5.5 um can be obtained after the operation.
The carbon matching device used is a kind of mixing and carbon matching equipment, the equipment is simple in structure, low in cost, high in efficiency, energy saving and high efficiency. When tungsten powder is reduced at high temperature, no need to add Li+ or Na+. Therefore, the purity of tungsten powder is high, the content of harmful impurities is less, and most of it is single crystal tungsten powder. The original grain size is large, the crystal development is perfect, and the defects are few. It is beneficial to the carbonation reaction and the development and perfection of the crystal.
