Tungsten Oxide Nano Flower Seed Planting Method

Tungsten oxide Nano-flowers in the chemical refers to the tungsten compounds, formed in the micro-level under the flower-like structure, so called nano flower. A tungsten oxide nanostructure film and a Pt surface modification were prepared by using the seed planting method, and a gas sensor based on the nanoflower structure film was prepared. At room temperature with high sensitivity, its working temperature up to 25 ℃, the working temperature is lower than the traditional semiconductor hydrogen sensor operating temperature.

 The membrane has a hydrogen concentration detection range of 50 ppm-5000 ppm and a response time of less than 3 min. The resistance changes rate and the hydrogen concentration into a linear relationship, the detection range has reached the standard industrial hydrogen detection range, can effectively reduce the hydrogen sensor operating temperature. It is confirmed that Pt surface modified tungsten oxide nano flower film has potential application in hydrogen sensor. The gas sensing mechanism of hydrogen and Pt surface modified tungsten oxide nano flower structure film is explained by the surface potential barrier regulation and structure water model according to the phenomenon found when the hydrogen gas sensor is tested.
