Ammonium Paratungstate Production Process Analysis 1/3

China is rich in tungsten, and the majority of the world's Tungsten supply comes from China. U.S. Data for 2013 Geological Survey(United States Geological Survey,short for USGS) shows that China has proven reserves of 1 million 900 thousand tons of tungsten, accounted for above 60% of the world.  As a kind of high strength, high hardness,  conductive, heat transfer performance, corrosion resistance of functional material, tungsten enjoies great popularity by contemporary industrial and national defense science and technology. 
 
Tungsten carbide is the main application field of the tungsten downstream demand. Tungsten in China mainly use for producing tungsten carbide hard alloy and tungsten steel, production made by tungsten carbide like: knifes, drills, plugs, ect.. Tungsten carbide improve the hardness and wear-resistance of products. In the electronics industry tungsten is widely applied to the lamp filament and production of the electronic tube because of the property like: good thermal conductivity, conductivity and corrosion resistance. In aerospace industry, tungsten is made into a balance hammer and pendulum, etc., making the best use of high hardness,  high strength. 
 
At present, China has achieved certain results on ammonium paratungstate which can be carried out on a large scale production, to bring some economic benefits to the country. In addition, China has achieved great success in the study of the problem on the separation of tungsten and molybdenum, also has a major breakthrough in tungsten metallurgy.
