China Praseodymium Oxide Price - March 8, 2021

Rare earth market quotation in China: praseodymium oxide and neodymium oxide prices continue to rise while praseodymium oxide price remains stable on March 8, 2021. 

The downstream manufacturing industry is developing well and demand is strong, prompting upstream businesses to firm up and increase their confidence in quotations. However, the consumption of downstream and end-user is limited, resulting in a decline in rare earth price growth.

In the news: Customs data shows that from January to February 2021, the total national export value was 468.87 billion U.S. dollars, and the total import value was 365.62 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 60.6% and 22.2% year-on-year. Among them, rare earths exported a total of 7,068 tons from January to February 2021, an increase of 28.8% over the same period of last year, an increase of 28.8%; the value was $78.9 million, an increase of 85.5% over the same period of last year of $42.5 million.
