According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, in the first half of 2025, China's exports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps) totaled 7,257.99 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 23.94% compared to the first half of 2024. The export value amounted to RMB 2.239 billion, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of 14.57%.

In June, China's export business for ammonium paratungstate and tungsten trioxides resumed. Specifically, 40 tons of ammonium paratungstate were exported to Japan, with an export value of RMB 8.9714 million (unit price approximately RMB 224,000/ton); and 20 tons of tungsten trioxides were exported to South Korea, with an export value of RMB 5.0527 million (unit price approximately RMB 253,000/ton). The shippers were all registered in Fujian Province.

The export value was RMB 1.234 billion, showing a year-on-year decrease of 14.30% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 22.74%.

According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, in the first half of 2025, China's imports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps) amounted to 8,698.06 tons, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 17.74% compared to the first half of 2024. The import value was RMB 1.07 billion, showing a year-on-year growth of 36.50%.
