Molybdenum prices in Chinese market start to fall earlier in this week. Molybdenum raw material prices went up in previous stage with a very strong market speculation atmosphere, but mines resuming work and declining prices in steel tenders slow down uptrend.

Baotou Steel in China was reported to issue tender for 180 tonnes of ferro molybdneum in price RMB 12,700/t in August; Tianjin Pipe Corporation called for bids for 200 tonnes of ferro molybdneum and price RMB 12,900/t for FeMo60-B; ZPSS tendered 60 tonnes in RMB 12,650/t.
