Participants are mostly on the sidelines, waiting for the update of the tungsten raw material guidance price and long-term purchase price of several representative tungsten companies at the beginning of the month.

The price of 65% black tungsten concentrate is RMB 172,000/ton, up 20.3% from the beginning of the year. On the one hand, it is due to the reduction in supply, and on the other hand, it is due to the increased value driving force of tungsten resources as strategic assets.

The price of ammonium paratungstate is RMB 252,000/ton, up 19.4% from the beginning of the year. The upstream reluctance to sell and the downstream fear of high prices are different. The market cost inversion pressure is significant, the merchants' quotations and inquiries are less active, and the spot trading volume is small.

The price of tungsten powder is RMB 373/kg, and the price of tungsten carbide powder is RMB 368/kg, up about 18% from the beginning of the year. Alloy and its downstream enterprises find it difficult to digest the continuous increase in raw material costs, and in the current international political and economic environment and highly sensitive industry cycle, market consumption power needs to be improved.

The price of 70 ferrotungsten is RMB 255,000/ton, up 18.6% from the beginning of the year. The industry mainly follows the market, and the driving force of the market comes from the cost of tungsten raw materials and the rigid demand of downstream, as well as the resonance of the international market atmosphere.
