China September 4,170 tons of rare earth exports up by 155%

China Customs Statistics Advisory Service Centre (CCS) released a report that China September exports 4,170 tons of rare earth ore , metals and compounds , representing an increase of 155% over the same period last year , representing an increase of 77 percent in August .

The center said the January- September period of rare earth export volume increase of 12.9% over the previous year , to 33,604 tonnes.

The data also show that 1- September rare earth exports fell 49.6% to $ 1.5 billion , with the weakening global demand is consistent .
