Rare Association: will build four rare earth application platform

Association will strengthen cooperation with relevant industry associations, has been established with hydrogen, light function, polishing, and to set up a branch of the catalyst and rare earth permanent magnet alloy club to promote RE in the automotive, wind power, white goods applications in the field, to create Rare application platform. Guide enterprises to increase R & D, design and manufacturing capabilities, and promote the development of rare earth materials and applications. First established automotive application of rare earth platform, in the Ministry of Equipment Division with the support of the Chinese automotive industry associations to establish rare earths in automotive applications platform to expand rare in the automotive motor, battery, exhaust gas purification, lights, wheels, frame and glass and other applications; Secondly, the establishment of wind power with white goods rare earth application platform. Association will coordinate the production of rare earth enterprises, NdFeB enterprises and wind power companies, white goods industry parts suppliers and white goods business, from the establishment of long-term stable strategic partnership business perspective, to achieve Earth in wind power, white goods application-related enterprises win. To carry out wind power, white goods application of rare earth research, build wind power, white goods rare application platform. It will also establish a petrochemical industry application platform, development and utilization of optical functional materials platform.

Third, the development of long-term development planning study of rare earth industry. On China's rare earth resources, production, marketing, policy, environmental, and other aspects of the application on the basis of full investigation, resource-based enterprises as the core, market-oriented, China's rare earth industry put forward long-term development plan, promote China's rare earth industry continues healthy development. Association will be completed by end of 2013 planning.
