China's First Set of "Rare Earth Magnetic Overrunning Clutch" Put into Production

Recently, an enterprise in Baotou City achieved large-scale production with its "Rare Earth Magnetic Overtaking Clutch First-Unit Industrialization Project." Leveraging an advanced structural design, this project has increased the average service life of overtaking clutches in planetary gearboxes of domestic loaders by more than 2,000 hours. The product's low cost and extended lifespan have disrupted the long-standing monopoly of imported fixed-shaft gearboxes from abroad.

According to CTIA GROUP LTD, the rare earth magnetic overtaking clutch is an innovative self-regulating clutch that integrates rare earth magnetic materials into its design and manufacturing, achieving unique operational performance and advantages. Traditional overtaking clutches rely on changes in relative speed or rotational direction between the driving and driven components to automatically engage or disengage. Building on this, the rare earth magnetic overtaking clutch utilizes the powerful and stable magnetic properties of rare earth materials to optimize its operational mechanism.

In engineering machinery such as loaders, the rare earth magnetic overtaking clutch excels at adapting to complex operating conditions. For instance, in scenarios involving frequent starts, stops, and gear shifts, its stable magnetic properties enable rapid and precise clutch actions. This avoids the lifespan reduction issues common in traditional clutches due to mechanical wear and impact. As a result, it not only enhances the operational stability and reliability of the equipment but also reduces maintenance costs and boosts work efficiency, increasing the average service life of overtaking clutches in planetary gearboxes of domestic loaders by over 2,000 hours.
