Praseodymium Neodymium Oxide Price - July 19, 2021

Rare earth market quotation in China: terbium oxide, dysprosium oxide and praseodymium neodymium oxide prices continue to rise at the beginning of the week. Under the influence of many uncertain factors, traders have different views on the light and heavy rare earth market.

Generally, participants are bullish in the light rare earth market and are worried about the price of heavy rare earth products rising again. In addition to the impact of hot and rainy weather, the production capacity of light rare earth mining companies has generally shrunk, and the increase in downstream user enquiries is also one of the reasons for the price increase of NdPr and Nd products. In terms of heavy rare earths, Myanmar's export restrictions and increased quarantine requirements for imported products have largely prompted suppliers to raise their quotations. However, due to the strong resistance of downstream buyers to high-end sources, there are few high-end transactions.

In the news: In the second quarter, the national industrial capacity utilization rate was 78.4%, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%. Among them, the mining industry capacity utilization rate was 76.1%, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%; the manufacturing capacity utilization rate was 78.8%, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%; the electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industry capacity utilization rate was 74.7%, a year-on-year increase of 4.1 percentage points.
