China tungsten prices generally exhibited a steady upward trend in the week ended on Friday, August 16, 2024, driven primarily by the reluctance of miners and APT (Ammonium Paratungstate) producers to sell at lower prices. 

At the beginning of the week, the domestic rare earth market showed a general upward trend, with praseodymium-neodymium metal price increasing by approximately 7,000 yuan/ton, terbium oxide price rising by about 100 yuan/kg, and dysprosium oxide price going up by around 10,000 yuan/ton.
