Cesium Tungsten Bronze Dispersion Applied for Heat Insulation Coating

Cesium tungsten bronze dispersion has high transmittance in the visible light region as well as excellent shielding properties of near infrared light so that it is usually applied for producing heat insulation coating. To improve heat shielding performance of the dispersion, some experts prepared cesium tungsten bronze by surface coating method (PVP-CsxWO3) and template method (CTAB-CsxWO3), and investigated the effects of these two methods on the photothermal properties and photothermal conversion efficiency of cesium tungsten bronze.

And it was found: the crystal phase of cesium tungsten bronze prepared by the surface coating method does not change, of a hexagonal Cs0.32WO3 structure. The dispersion was irradiated with an exciter for 20 minutes, and the photothermal conversion efficiency of the dispersion of PVP-CsxWO3 was calculated to be 23.1%. The crystal phase of cesium tungsten bronze prepared by the template method is a hexagonal Cs0.32WO3 structure. The dispersion of CTAB-CsxWO3 was irradiated with an exciter for 20 minutes, and the photothermal conversion efficiency of the dispersion was calculated to be 19.9%.
