Cesium Tungsten Bronze Nanopowder Applied for Windshield Heat Insulating Coating

Cesium tungsten bronze nanopowder for preparing windshield heat insulating coating is a nano material with high near-infrared absorption performance. Some experts successfully synthesized cesium tungsten bronze Cs0.32WO3 nanorod-like particles by hydrothermal method using sodium tungstate and cesium carbonate as raw materials, citric acid and D-malic acid as reducing agents.

Among them, the experts systematically studied the effects of factors such as n(Cs)/n(W), reducing agent, hydrothermal temperature and hydrothermal time on the crystallinity, morphology and absorbance of the Cs0.32WO3 nanoparticles. The results show that in the hydrothermal synthesis process, when n(Cs)/n(W) is 0.5 in the raw material, the formation of hexagonal Cs0.32WO3 nanoparticles can be promoted. With the increase of reaction time, the morphology of Cs0.32WO3 nanoparticles gradually changed from irregular shape to rod shape. The near-infrared absorption capacity of the obtained Cs0.32WO3 nanoparticles increases with the increase of crystallinity, and greatly increases with the formation of Cs0.32WO3 nanorods.
