Violet Tungsten Oxide Nanopowder Applied for Heat-insulation Glass Coating

Violet tungsten oxide nanopowder is one of the important raw materials for the preparation of heat-insulation glass coating. Due to its excellent optical properties and environmental protection, this environmentally friendly thermal insulation coating is increasingly used on architectural glass. Therefore, everyone began to pay attention to the use of raw material tungsten oxide in the field of heat insulation. And some of them are also concerned about the preparation of raw material powder - W18O49.

The preparation of W18O49 powder is divided into three steps. First, a reaction precursor is prepared. The tungsten chloride and the alcohol solvent are mixed in a certain amount. After the tungsten chloride is completely dissolved and uniformly mixed, the prepared reaction precursor is sealed in a high pressure reaction kettle and allowed to stand in a dry box at a certain temperature. And the crystallization reaction is carried out for a certain period of time. Secondly, after the reaction was completed and cooled to room temperature, the reaction solution was taken out and centrifuged, washed three times with 50ml of deionized water and three times with 50ml of absolute ethanol. Finally, the solution obtained in the previous step was dried in a vacuum oven at 60°C for 8 hours to obtain violet tungsten oxide nano powder.
