During the experiment, the expert dissolved WCl6 in ethanol, and used the obtained solution as the precursor of the reaction. The precursor was placed in a high-pressure reaction tank lined with polytetrafluoroethylene and allowed to stand at 180°C for 24h. The obtained solution was centrifuged, washed, and dried. And the product was confirmed to have a monoclinic phase of W18O49 by XRD pattern crystal alignment. It has strong peaks in the (010) and (020) crystal directions, so it is inferred that the crystal may preferentially grow in the [010] crystal direction, and the morphology is a nanowire with a diameter of less than 1nm and a length of several micrometers.
