Nano CsxWO3 Applied for Thermal Insulating Glass

Nano CsxWO3, or nano cesium tungsten bronze, may be used to prepare heat-insulating film for use on thermal insulating glass. With the popularization of the application of cesium tungsten bronze in the field of heat insulation, the preparation method of CsxWO3 has attracted more and more attention. The following mainly introduces a preparation method of cesium tungsten bronze with simple process and low cost, including the following steps:

Step 1: Sodium tungstate solution with a concentration of 0.5mol/L is exchanged with a cationic resin to obtain tungstic acid sol. During the exchange treatment of sodium tungstate and the cationic resin, hydrogen ions in the cationic resin are exchanged with sodium ions in sodium tungstate, and tungstic acid is formed. Therefore, after the exchange treatment, a tungstic acid sol was obtained.

Step 2: Add a citric acid solution and a cesium carbonate solution to the tungstic acid sol prepared in step 1, and then performing a mixture treatment to obtain a precursor liquid for hydrothermal reaction;

Step 3: Precursor liquid prepared in step 2 is hydrothermally reacted at a temperature of 160-180°C and a pressure of 0.8-1MPa. After the reaction is completed, the washing treatment and the drying treatment are carried out to obtain cesium tungsten bronze powder.
