Transition Purchased Tungsten Project at Ontario

Transition Metals Corp (Transition) acquired a tungsten project in Ontario, Canada. The company is a Sudbury, Ontario-based company and pleased to reveal that it has purchased a 100% interest in the Fostung Property located at Sudbury, Ontario, the property hosts a historic tungsten trioxide (WO3) skarn resource that was stated in 2007 to contain an inferred mineral resource of 12.4 million tonnes grading 0.213 by weight of WO3 minerals, according to a press release.

The resource estimate was completed on the Fostung Property mentioned in this press release was completed at the request of Golden Predator Mine Inc. in 2007 at the request of SRK Consulting Inc. Based on information on 44 drill holes totaling 9,185 meters completed between 1966 and 1986, the report states a CIM classified Inferred Mineral Resource of 12.4 tonnes of mineral material with 0.213% by weight of WO3 minerals, using a cut-off value of 0.125%.

On the other hand, according to Transition, its field team recently collected grab samples with a return value of 0.63 weight percent WO3, 0.87 weight percent copper, 0.12 weight percent zinc and 15.9 ppm silver and demonstrates the polymetallic nature of mineralization.

The company discloses that qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify historical estimates as current mineral resources or mineral reserves, and the issuer did not consider historical estimates as current mineral resources or mineral reserves. In addition, the company has not independently verified the samples and grades provided in this press release and considers them to be historical in nature.
